| Celebration of SAMVIDHAN DIWAS on 26th November, 2019 |
Centre for Police Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh celebrated ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ on 26th November, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Constitution Day (National Law Day), also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated in India on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26th January 1950. Ms. Priyaka Mittal, Guest Faculty, read out the ‘Preamble’ to the constitution of India. Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson of the Centre for Police Administration, Prof. Anil Monga, faculty members, staff members & students of the Centre for Police Administration were present on this occasion.
