Centre for Police Administration (U.I.E.A.S.S)

The Centre for Police Administration, Panjab University, conducted an orientation on 19th and 20th August, 2019 to introduce students of M.A. first year to the Centre. The students were also taken to the A.C. Joshi Library, Gandhi Bhawan & Fine Arts Museum of Panjab University. Vice Chancellor of Panjab University Prof. Raj Kumar was the Chief guest in this programme. The main speakers interacted with the students and discussed the problem of drug addiction and drug trafficking in India, with special reference to Punjab. The speakers included Kaustubh Sharma, DIG, Special Task Force, Punjab Shri Shashank Anand, SSP (Security & Traffic), Chandigarh, Prof. (Retd.) R.K. Sharma (Former Co-ordinator of the Centre for Police Administration), Ms. Parvesh Kumari, Inspector (PCR), Chandigarh, Jeesu Jaskanwar Singh, Department of Education, USOL, and Prof. Anil Monga, Centre for Police Administration.
